Ride the Wave! 2009 VGSA Pride Cruise

We’ll spend three hours out on the water with a fantastic crowd of people, music by DJ Precious, terrific food, and a full bar. Tickets $35 online at www.vgsa.com. More Camping Planned

Bill Knight has added a couple more weekends to his VGSA-Invited Camping Trips.

In addition to the August 14-17 dates in the Adirondacks, he is also going to be camping at Branbury State Park near Middlebury on the weekend of June 26-28. They will be hiking to Silver Lake on June 27th if anyone wants to join them for just the day.

On July 17-19, Bill will be camping at Elmore State Park and hiking to the fire tower there on Saturday, July 18th.

You can contact Bill at wjknight@juno.com for more info or to RSVP. He has two sites reserved for each weekend, so you need to RSVP to make sure there is enough room.

June 13th bike ride is postponed.

Adirondack Camping this Summer

Bill Knight has arranged a camping weekend this summer. Want to join him?

  • When: August 14-17th
  • Where: A campground in the Adirondacks, with water
  • What: Bill has reserved one site on the water, and that is already full. If you want to join in, get a group together (maximum of 6 per site) and reserve your site. Tents and RVs welcome. For contact info and more details, contact Bill at wjknight@juno.com.

www.vtgayguide.com contains commerce, resources, blogs, even a family album

There’s a new website in town, or rather in the state–one that aspires to become the virtual kitchen table for Vermont’s lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender citizens and out-of-state visitors: Vermont Gay Guide.

The Samara Foundation of Vermont, a community foundation dedicated to the well-being of Vermont’s LGBT community, created the site in response to business professionals and non-profit organization leaders who felt the lack of a single source for LGBT people to get and give information. Read more…
